5 Quick Ways to Welcome The Full Moon Summer Solstice

704

2016 is a magical year!

See, once in every 30 years, the full moon and the Summer Solstice coincide. And 2016 is THE YEAR!

But what makes 2016 an even more magical year is the summer solstice is coinciding with the Strawberry Moon, a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. The strawberry moon and the summer solstice coincide only once every 70 years.

We are so LUCKY to witness this amazing and rare event!

The best way to describe the Summer Solstice is to look at it like the sun’s version of a full moon. The sun will be at the peak of its annual cycle.

This is magical as both solar and lunar energy will be at a high vibrational level making it a magical time for taking action and moving forward with goals and aspiration, particularly those related to energy, growth, expansion, success, prosperity, radiance, and love.

The full moon summer solstice is the perfect time to release anything that no longer serves you or that has been holding you back because a crescendo is not just the highest peak tonight but also it is transitioning toward decline.

So with magic in the air both at day and night, it’s a great time to celebrate!

Below I will share with you 5 simple yet amazing ways to celebrate this magical day/night.

1. Light An Intention Candle:

Light a candle of your choice with the intention to ignite your inner flames. Think of the flame as the fire of ambition and desire burning inside you. This is a powerful way to celebrate this magical day/night and to strengthen and bring forth more of your own personal power.

Use this time to access your true inner power and decide to harness the full energy of the sun and the moon to guide you in strengthening what you once felt weak, dull or lackluster within you.

2. Have a drink in the honor of the sun:

I love this one as its so simple and easy, yet very effective!

Ok, put your visualization cap on!

I drink a mug of ginger and/or cinnamon tea with the sun. I make a mug for me and one for the sun. Then, I offer a toast of admiration and thanksgiving to the sun. I visualize the sun cheering me on the toast and giving me a dose of radiant power and confidence.

Perfect time to do this is: Early Morning or late afternoon before sunset.

3. Set Your Spirit Free:

The Solstice is the perfect time to honestly assess your life, and that includes everything! Have a check up on your belief system, check out what habits are holding you back and serving you and the ones around you no good!

As you witness the summer solstice, let the sun wash away any old oppressive paradigms. Allow the sunlight to shine light into the dark places and choose to free your spirit of anything that adds no value to your life. Then, at night, allow the full moon to empower and cleanse your renewed spirit.

4. Dance Under The Moon:

With the moon at it’s peak, especially this year with the Strawberry Moon, harness its power by getting active.

I love having a bonfire with few friends, put some good indie music on and then have a dance under the moon.

5. Have A Full-Moon Bath:

The Summer Solstice is a time of both solar and lunar energies, as it’s the time when the sun moves into the lunar, the watery sign of Cancer. And Of course, the full moon energy adds some extra dose of cleansing water magic into the mix.

So, take a dip in a moving body of water. If you can’t then just stand ankle-deep in a stream, place yourself in a fresh, moving body of water and let it do it’s magic.

A full immersion is ideal but don’t let that limit you!

Just get in the water and let it cleanse, invigorate, and rejuvenate your soul.

Wow, what a magical time to be alive!

Enjoy this magical day, have fun, connect with friends, and rejuvenate your soul. Simply just LET THINGS GO!
