In today’s article, we’ll dig a little deeper and learn how to check if you 7 Chakras are out of alignment or unbalanced.
So let’s dive in!
The term “Chakra” is very trendy nowadays. But most people only have a pop-culture understanding of the 7 Chakras – which is my nice way of saying they have no understanding at all.
The chakras are not really these “things” that hold the key to health, wealth, happiness, growth, personal development and realizing your full potential. The Energy that follows throw the chakras and understanding how it works is what makes chakras so powerful!
My goal here is to help you check each one of your 7 chakras and ensure that the sushumna nadiis are open so that kundalini energy will flow from your perineum to the top of your head.
Chakras are members of the subtle body, not the body, and therefore, chakras are the meeting points from the subtle energy channels, known as nadiis.
Nadiis are channels within the subtle body by which the existence pressure (prana) moves.
Various spiritual teachings present different quantity of chakras. There’re lots of chakras within the subtle body based on the yogic texts, but you will find 7 main chakras as the most important ones and that’s where we’ll focus on in today’s article.
The 7 Main Chakras:
- THE FIRST CHAKRA: THE ROOT OR BASE CHAKRA
- THE SECOND CHAKRA: THE SACRAL CHAKRA
- THE THIRD CHAKRA: THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
- THE FOURTH CHAKRA: THE HEART CHAKRA
- THE FIFTH CHAKRA: THE THROAT CHAKRA
- THE SIXTH CHAKRA: THE THIRD EYE OR BROW CHAKRA
- THE SEVENTH CHAKRA: THE CROWN CHAKRA
Ok, now that you know a little bit more, let’s transition to how properly check your chakras and ensure they are aligned/balanced.
Balancing your chakras properly will surely gift you a better health and brighter future. But many times it goes wrong. So here are the warning signs that you are chakras are out of balance.
For those who have achiness or, or certain reoccurring feelings and other issues, read on and you will discover the chakra that is affected or blocked.
Here Are The Warning Signs That One Of Your 7 Chakras Is Out Of Balance
The Root Chakra
Sits properly at the bottom of your back, at the tailbone.
Body problems within the first chakra include many problems within the legs, feet, rectum, tailbone, defense mechanisms, male reproductive organs and also prostate gland.
Individuals with problems listed here are also prone to experience problems with degenerative joint disease, knee discomfort, sciatica, and upset stomach .
Some emotional problems involve feelings that affect our fundamental needs such as money, shelter, and food, is caused when the root chakra is out of alignment.
When this chakra is balanced properly, you will have a feeling of being supported. Also, a feeling of connectivity and safety towards the world are noticed.
The main purpose of the root chakra is self-protection, and that we possess a right to exist.
The Sacral Chakra
Situated 2″ Inches below your navel.
When unbalanced, people may experience body problems such as sexual and reproductive problems, some urinary problems, kidney complications, pelvic and occasional back discomfort.
Emotional problems my invoice our capability to express our love. Our capability to have fun, fulfill our desires, our creativeness, and pleasure.
When this chakra is properly balanced, people experience a boost of confidence to take leaps of faith, a boost of creativity, and commitment. People are passionate, even more, sexual and outgoing when their sacral chakra is balanced.
The purpose of the sacral chakra is pleasure and recognition by others.
The Solar Plexus Chakra
Situated three inches right above your navel.
When unbalanced, people may experience body problems such as bloating, liver disorder, fatigue, high bloodstream pressure, stomach problems, pancreas and gall bladder issues, and colon illnesses.
Emotional problems may include problems with power and self-esteem, self-criticism, the fears of being rejected or critiqued based on physical looks.
When this chakra is properly balanced, a feeling of self-respect and self-worthiness are noticed. Some may feel more in charge, and confident with their choices.
The main purpose of the chakra is self-acceptance.
The Heart Chakra
Situated at the heart.
An unbalanced heart chakra may lead to physical problems such as bronchial asthma, cardiovascular disease, lung problems, back and shoulder problems, both arm and wrist discomfort.
Emotional problems such as loving to the stage of suffocation, jealousy, anger, and bitterness are signs of an unbalanced heart chakra. Anxiety about loneliness is a sign too.
When this chakra is properly balanced, a feeling of pleasure, pride, love and empathy, forgiving flows freely, and trust is acquired.
The main purpose of the chakra is love in all its forms.
The Throat Chakra
Situated in the neck and the throat.
An unbalanced heart chakra may lead to physical problems auch as thyroid problems, sore throats, TMJ, some ear infections, stomach problems, any face problems (face, oral cavity, tongue problems) shoulder and neck discomfort.
Emotional problems such as problems with expression through communication; spoken or written, anxiety about haveing no power, no self-discipline or just being unmanageable are signs that your thoat chakra is unbalanced.
When this chakra is properly balanced, words flow easily, proper expression and communication are also noticed. People are most honest and truthful, even more firm with a balanced throat chakra. Being a good listener is another good sign of a balanced throat chakra.
The main purpose of the throat chakra would be to speak and allow your inner voice to be heard.
The Third Eye Chakra
Situated in the center of the eye brows, in the heart of the brow.
An unbalanced Third Eye Chakra may lead to Physical problems such as headaches, vision problems, sinus trouble, eyestrain, hearing problems and hormone malfunction.
Emotional problems such as moodiness, unpredictability, and inability of self-reflection and lack keeping fear in check are signs of an unbalanced Third Eye Chakra. If you find yourself Day-dreaming more than usual and residing in a universe with exaggerated imagination then you might have an unbalanced 3rd eye chakra.
When this chakra is properly balanced, we feel focused, and determined, we can tell the difference between truth and illusion. We’re available to receiving knowledge and inner sight.
The main purpose of the chakra would be to understand the big picture.
The Crown Chakra
Situated at the top of your head.
When unbalanced people may experience physical imbalances such as depression, learning disability, having a hard time understanding or learning at school, and sensitivity to bright light.
Emotional problems such as difficulties with understanding yourself & others as signs of an unbalanced Crown Chakra.
When this chakra is properly balanced, we start living in the present moment. People also experience an unshakeable reliance upon their inner voice when they have their chakra balanced.
The main purpose of the chakra is to live mindfully.
After studying this, you may realize that more than one chakra is unaligned or blocked.
